Pillar Church believes that the Bible, the Word of God found in the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is “breathed out by God…” and is therefore profitable for God’s people to be completely equipped for the mission of the Church (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Because of this, Pillar Church participates in expository preaching. This means that the text of Scripture is what drives the message. It also means that our normal preaching diet is to preach all the way through the individual books of the Bible. We rejoice to sit under the preaching of God’s word every single week.
Christians should delight in the Word of God beyond just the Sunday gathering. To help bring people further into God’s word, the pastors of Pillar church provide a weekly 20 minute podcast episode where they offer more comments and applications from the sermon preached the previous Sunday. This allows them to “Say Even More” about Knowing Jesus and Making him Known.
